43. BYDGOSZCZ MUSICAL IMPRESSIONS 

Bydgoszcz, June 30, 2025

The Artistic Council consisting of:

prof. dr hab. Piotr Salaber – Akademia Muzyczna im. Feliksa Nowowiejskiego w Bydgoszczy – chairman of the jury

prof. dr hab. Janusz Stanecki  – Akademia Muzyczna im. Feliksa Nowowiejskiego w Bydgoszczy

mgr Mariusz Żwierko – Narodowy Instytut Muzyki i Tańca w Warszawie

after seeing six bands from five countries (Colombia, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine) participating in the Competition, it decided to award the following prizes in accordance with the rules:

 

MAIN PRIZES

The GRAND PRIX, Golden String, and a cash prize of PLN 12,000 for the best ensemble at the 43rd Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions goes to:

Children choir RADUNYTSYA, Ukraine, instructor: Natalia Mańko

FIRST PLACE – THE AWARD OF THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND NATIONAL HERITAGE, the Golden String, and a cash prize of PLN 8,000 goes to:

The Boyacense Musicians and Dancers Association ABMUBA from Tunja (Colombia),

instructor Martha Yanneth Moreno Mancipe

 

SPECIAL PRIZES

 

The first prize from the MAYOR OF BYDGOSZCZ, the Silver String, and a cash prize of PLN 6,000 goes to:

ANKARA KAFKAS from the ANATOLIAN FOLKLORE FOUNDATION in Ankara (Turkey),

instructor Azer Bayramli

The first prize from the MAYOR OF BYDGOSZCZ, the Silver String, and a cash prize of PLN 6,000 goes to:

The ZAZERKALLYA Vocal Ensemble from Kremenchuk (Ukraine), instructor Inna Nerodenko

The DIRECTOR OF THE PAŁAC MŁODZIEŻY Award, the Silver String, and a cash prize of PLN 2,500 goes to:

The MAŁE SŁOWIANKI Song and Dance Ensemble named after Władysława Maria Francuz from Krakow, directed by Bogusława Oleszko and Anna Dzierwa

The KUJAWSKO-POMORSKI EDUCATION SUPERINTENDENT AWARD and the Silver String Award go to:

The ASM ENSEMBLE Instrumental Ensemble from Cologne (Germany),conducted by Baris Cepni

The jury expresses its appreciation to the organizers—the Youth Palace in Bydgoszcz and the Friends of the Youth Palace Association in Bydgoszcz “Pałac”—for bringing such a valuable event back to the musical map of Poland, and warmly congratulates all the winners.
