Every year we begin our International Meetings of Young Musicians with a concert. Wyspa Młyńska (the Mill Island), the Opera Nova Amphitheater, Plac Teatralny (the Theatre Square), Stary Rynek (the Old Market), are just a few of the amazing places where we have had an opportunity to organize the Opening Concerts of the Festival. During the opening concert, the dancing, instrumental and vocal groups from the Bydgoszcz Youth Centre ”Pałac Młodzieży” as well as our special guests are presented. We have a fantastic, numerous audience who every year they look forward to BIM.
Before the Concert a multinational, colourful march, formed by the invited guests and participants of BIM (dance ensembles, big–bands, orchestras, choirs) passes along the streets.
