Since 1977, the BIM has always been accompanied by a Competition for The Gold String Statuette. It is not obligatory, but since competing and presentation of talents is a part of the life of artists, it is very popular among our guests. Each group participating in the competition receives a Silver String Statue.

International Music Festival (BIM) has traditionally been organized in Bydgoszcz since 1977 for children and youth from all over the world.
